Business Model

Business Model Crossword

The ultimate goal of our business is to help client companies fill entry-level positions with candidates that have the skills, attributes, and motivation to succeed in the position, career path, and culture of the client organization.  Our service is often compared to professional matchmaking; in fact, we refer to the act of placing candidates as “making the perfect match”.

However, at the same time, we know that client companies have businesses to run and unfilled positions can hamper the growth and/or profitability of the business.  As result, the ability to respond quickly to client needs is also important.  In addition, many clients have to fill positions in multiple locations, so the ability to respond nationally is also essential.

In summary, the goal of our business model is to identify the “perfect match” for each position, quickly, and anywhere across the United States.

With this in mind, key elements of the GradStaff business model include:

  1. Non-stop, national recruiting at hundreds of colleges across the country 365 days per year, augmented by innovative internet-based recruiting and client and candidate referrals.
  2. A highly selective candidate screening and evaluation program based on behavioral science concepts, which involves extensive numbers of candidate interviews each week across the country.
  3. Development of deep pools of top-notch candidates with a variety of skill sets in each geographic market we serve.
  4. Selecting the “perfect match” for each position from candidate pools based on the profile determined from the job analysis performed for each position.
  5. Utilization of a “hub and spoke” strategy from GradStaff’s six anchor locations to serve over 35 major cities across the U.S.

Based on our continuous recruiting and candidate evaluation process, our model is designed to have great candidates available whenever a position needs to be filled.  Our program is not tied to the historically important May/June graduation cycle.  In fact, due to a combination of demographic changes and potential restructuring of college education, it is anticipated that the spring graduation cycle will become increasingly less important.

With over 10 years of experience helping top-notch college grads and leading employers, the GradStaff business model is proven to deliver the “perfect match” – quickly and efficiently, wherever the position needs to be filled.
